ZBenchmark: mac widget
Zoorender.com has teamed up with Synthe FX to release a new Dashboard Widget for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger that allows you to test the rendering power of your Mac. Just click start to begin the benchmark, and upon completion the results can be sent directly to Zoorender.com’s render results database. Here you can compare your time to other computers, both Mac and PC, around the world.
The Zoorender Benchmark widget uses underlying technology found in Synthe FX DashRender, a full featured OS X Dashboard Widget for rendering Maya® scenes. Mac users can finally get the most efficient render results without having to type in terminal commands. It also automatically determines the users system specs for error-free input into the Zoorender results database, while also allowing the user to enter specific comments related to their render results.
